The Piggyback Bead Annealer is a bead annealing chamber designed to be used with an existing Hot Box or similarly sized kiln. Simply remove the lid from your Hot Box and place the Piggyback Bead Annealer on top. You're ready to anneal your beads!!

The Piggyback Bead Annealer does not produce its own heat, therefore it contains no heating elements. All heat production and temperature control is performed by your existing Hot Box. You can now convert your fusing kiln into a bead annealer quickly and economically.

The Piggyback Bead Annealer contains a built-in pyrometer for precise annealing control and a flip-up door for easy insertion of beaded mandrels.

The Piggyback Bead Annealer shown placed on top of the Hot Box kiln. Annealing temperature is controlled via the existing Hot Box control panel. The Piggyback will work on other kilns similar to the Hot Box as well. We recommend using on kilns with an interior chamber opening no greater than 8" x 8".
