You need a barrier between your work and your kiln furniture for successful firing. Without it, you're stuck. Literally. This barrier is known as Glass Separator, Kiln Wash and Shelf Primer. There are slight differences and we supply different mixes for glass and ceramic firing. Our "Glass Separator" is a proprietary mix that applies well and tends to not stick to the glass. Our "Kiln Wash" is a tough mix that stays on the shelf after multiple high firings. This mix is supplied in dry form and must be mixed with water before applying. Check out our applicator brush, it works great.
