Copper Features Front Access Annealing ovens typically use a front loading design and the Copper follows that lead. The door gets a lot of use and our design is rock solid. It won’t sag, it travels freely and will do so for the life of the kiln. |

Copper Features Cool & Comfortable Door Handle The Copper sports a large, easy to operate door handle. It’s well placed and remains cool during use. The door handle also serves as a spring loaded door latch to keep the door positively closed. It’s a very clean and well executed design that’s a joy to use. |

Copper Features Full Stainless Jacket Multi-section kilns are designed to lower production costs for the kiln manufacturer. It's a worthy goal but it comes at the cost of kiln quality. It’s a trade off we’re not willing to make. We build our kilns with full stainless jackets from top to bottom. And in the case of the Copper: front to back. Full jackets mean absolutely solid, life extending construction. There are no leaks, no shifting, no buckles and no weakness. Insist on Full Stainless Jackets for true build quality. |

Copper Features Corner Mounting Technique The corners of the kiln body and door provide excellent strength for mounting. The flat sides of the kiln don’t offer this strength. We install our load bearing hinge brackets on these corners for this very reason. Longer life, high reliability: solid design makes a difference. |

Copper Features Power Interrupt Switch Option The Copper is available with our Power Interrupt Option (a.k.a. door switch). The Power Interrupt automatically removes power from all heating elements as the door is opened and reapplies power as the door is closed. The switch used for this feature is a true safety switch and is designed specifically for safety applications. The choice of this switch adds an additional level of safety and security not found in ordinary “safety” switches. |

Copper Features Responsive Thermocouples Our thermocouples (temperature sensors) are chosen for their quick response and reliable performance. Our standard thermocouple is a Type K. Type S thermocouples are available by request on Rampmaster equipped models at additional charge. |

Copper Features Standard Household Plug
The Copper operates using standard,
North American household voltage and is equipped with a standard North American
household plug. We do offer the Copper in various global designs and fit these
units with country specific cables and plugs. Excellent Temperature Distribution
Evenheat glass kilns are true to
their name and the Copper is no different. Our designs are well known for
their excellent temperature uniformity. They’re done well and you’ll appreciate
the performance. Shelves
We recommend using a shelf for all
firings in the Copper. The Copper uses a 7.25” x 7.25" square shelf. Keep in mind that
the shelf must be primed before use and that we do recommend uses posts below
the shelf. Posts
We recommend using posts to
bring the shelves off the kiln floor. This helps to heat the shelf evenly while
reducing and eliminating bubbles. While we do offer a wide selection of post
heights we do recommend the use of either .5" or 1” posts. We also recommend
using at least 4 posts to support each shelf. Suitability The Copper is capable of all firing up to 2200°F (1204°C). The Copper finds use in China and Porcelain painting, Ceramics, Metal Clays and Glass work.
