        Quiet Drive Solid State Relay

All RM II personal size models are available with our optional Quiet Drive Solid State Relay.

Solid state relays are special switches used to turn the heating elements on and off. Solid state relays enhance control performance, extend the life of the heating elements and are expected to last the life of the oven.

Our Quiet Drive Solid State relays can turn the heating elements on and off up to 120 times per second as opposed to traditional mechanical relays that tend to be limited to about once every 10 seconds. This fast response time translates into tighter and more precise temperature regulation.

Evenheat uses special solid state relays that will only switch the heating elements on and off when the AC voltage is at 0V. It's called "Zero Crossing" and our heating elements love it and they show that love by lasting longer!

Solid state, by its nature, has no moving parts (that's why it's called solid state). No moving parts means nothing to wear out and nothing to replace. Unlike traditional mechanical relays our solid state relays are expected to last the life of the oven.

All of our controls are capable of pairing with our solid state relays. We would note that the Set-Pro control offers all the benefits of the solid state relay except for tighter temperature control.

Evenheat's Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System is quite simply the best designed, overbuilt and most reliable solid state relay system available.

        Voltage Options

Our default production for RM II 810 and RM II 1210 is 120V, Single Phase.

Our default production for RM II 1210-B, RM II 1413, RM II 1813 and RM II 1822 is 240V, single phase.

All controls available on the RM II Series models will operate properly on both 50Hz and 60Hz line frequencies. To say it another way, line frequency has no effect. It doesn't matter.

Evenheat recommends that you check your operating voltage before ordering or placing the kiln in service.

        Voltage Phase Options

RM II Series models are produced in a single phase design only.

3 phase Delta and Y (380V, 400V and 415V) designs are not available.
