        Quiet Drive Solid State Relay

Both the Studio Pro 14 and Studio Pro 17 models are available with our optional Quiet Drive Solid State Relay.

Solid state relays are special switches used to turn the heating elements on and off. Solid state relays enhance control performance, extend the life of the heating elements and are expected to last the life of the kiln.

Our Quiet Drive Solid State relays can turn the heating elements on and off up to 120 times per second as opposed to traditional mechanical relays that tend to be limited to about once every 10 seconds. This fast response time translates into tighter and more precise temperature regulation.

Evenheat uses special solid state relays that will only switch the heating elements on and off when the AC voltage is at 0V. It's called "Zero Crossing" and our heating elements love it and they show that love by lasting longer!

Solid state, by its nature, has no moving parts (that's why it's called solid state). No moving parts means nothing to wear out and nothing to replace. Unlike traditional mechanical relays our solid state relays are expected to last the life of the kiln.

All of our controls are capable of pairing with our solid state relays. We would note that the Set-Pro control offers all the benefits of the solid state relay except for tighter temperature control.

Evenheat's Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System is quite simply the best designed, overbuilt and most reliable solid state relay system available.

        Viewing Window

Keep an eye on your glass firing without having to peek through an open lid. Order your next Evenheat Glass kiln with our 2" x 4" viewing window.

Available only as a factory installed option on Studio Pro STP. The Viewing Window is not available on Models Studio Pro 14 or Studio Pro 17.

Our viewing window is designed for applications up to 1800°F (982°C) non-continuous. That means all glass firing up to this temperature is absolutely acceptable. The viewing window is not designed for higher temperatures into the ceramic/porcelain/glass crucible range.

        Voltage Options

Our default production for Studio Pro Series (Personal Size) models is 120V, Single Phase.

We do offer to build Studio Pro Series (Personal Size) models in 100V, 200V, 220V, 230V and 240V by request.

All controls available on the Studio Pro Series models will operate properly on both 50Hz and 60Hz line frequencies. To say it another way, line frequency has no effect. It doesn't matter.

Evenheat recommends that you check your operating voltage before ordering or placing the kiln in service.

        Voltage Phase Options

Studio Pro Series (Personal Size) models are produced in a single phase design only.

3 phase Delta and Y (380V, 400V and 415V) designs are not available.
