Cube 7

Small High-Temperature

The Cube 7 is a small heat treat oven designed primarily for machinist and prototype work while also serving the small blade maker as well. It operates from 120V and has a chamber of 7" x 7" x 7". Maximum use temperature of 2350°F.

The Cube 7 is built entirely with firebrick. Firebrick is the preferred heat treat material as it stores heat at the beginning of the process and then easily and gently releases it during the soak/hold period resulting in incredible temperature stability.

The Cube 7 is available with either the TAP II or Rampmaster 3 controls. Match it up with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay option for high performance and long life.

Features

7" x 7" x 7" Chamber

The chamber of the Cube 7 measures 7" x 7" x 7". Perfect for machinist and prototype work and smaller blades.

Side Opening Door

Heat treating requires the removing of some very hot material from the chamber in order to quench. Everything in the chamber is hot, which includes the door. The door on the Cube 7 swings out and to the side. This puts the super-heated door well away from you as you concentrate on the work at hand.

Full Firebrick Construction

Like all our heat treat ovens, the Cube 7 is built completely of firebrick.

Firebrick has the desired characteristic of storing heat and then releasing it slowly and gently during the soak/hold portion of the process. It's this particular quality that serves the heat treat process so well.

Cool Touch Handle

The handle/latch on our swing out door is conveniently located at the front of the door, not hidden along the side. This spring loaded, phenolic handle is cool to the touch, is one-handed in design and serves as the door latch as well.

Relay Access Port

The Cube 7 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.

Simply remove the access plate to gain access to the relay. There's no need to remove the control panel and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a screwdriver!

It's a given that mechanical relays will fail at some point. This relay access port really comes in handy when they do.

Door Shield

A door shield provides protection against firebrick damage as well as to reduce the temperature seen at the door and door handle.

Swing View Equipped

Our TAP II and Rampmaster temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.

The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your shop. It's that simple.

The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP II as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it.

2350°F Maximum Temperature

The maximum usable temperature for the Cube 7 is 2350°F (1287°C).

Maintenance Parts Tag

To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag on the Cube 7 indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.

Wish we had this decades ago.

Build Options

TAP II or Rampmaster Controls Option

The Cube 7 is available with your choice of the TAP II or Rampmaster temperature controllers.

Check out our Controls tab for detailed descriptions of both controls.

Quiet Drive Solid State Relay Option

The Cube 7 is available with our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay option.

Our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System offers tight temperature control, high reliability and increased heating element life. The Quiet Drive is arguably the best designed and best performing solid state system on the market.

Power Interrupt Switch Option

The Power Interrupt Switch removes power from all heating elements as the door is opened and re-applies power as the door is closed.

The switch used for this feature is a true safety switch and is designed specifically for safety applications. This safety switch will literally tear apart and open any welded or stuck contacts - true safety!

Voltage Options

Our default production for the Cube 7 is 120V, Single Phase.

We do offer to build the Cube 7 to operate on 240V on request.

All controls will operate properly on both 50Hz and 60Hz line frequencies. To say it another way, line frequency has no effect. It doesn't matter.

Evenheat recommends that you check your operating voltage before ordering or placing the oven in service.

Voltage Phase Options

Cube 7 is produced in a single phase design only.

3 phase Delta and Wye (380V, 400V and 415V) designs are not available.
