Studio Pro 41

Evenheat Studio Pro 41

The Studio Pro 41 is our largest model in the Studio Pro line. With an impressive chamber size and exterior lines to fit your studio vibe the Studio Pro 41 delivers in all the right places.

The Studio Pro 41 features our Dual Access Design. The Dual Access Design combines traditional front and top loading features into a truly evolutionary kiln design.

Controls are perfectly positioned front-and-center. Power components are placed out of sight and out of the way. Quiet Drive Solid State relays are standard equipped. Optional casters simply attach to the sturdy base.

All this and more in a design that looks as good as it performs.

Features

Shown with Optional Casters and Shelves

Front Access

The defining feature of the Studio Pro design is its front access. Simply lift the chamber to expose the entire floor. It's wall-free and wide open.

Front access is perfect for glass placement: simply build directly on your shelf and close the chamber. Front access is also great when using tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking, roll ups and manipulation techniques.

Top Access

The Studio Pro 41 features top access as part of the dual access design.

Top access is excellent for the loading of shelves and forms as it allows for easy and precise placement. Top access is also preferred for many vertical-approach manipulation techniques such as embossing.

Top access also makes venting possible with the two position vent (see below).

Perfect Controller Location

Our TAP and Icon+ controls are positioned front-and-center at body level. Just walk up and enjoy.

Absolutely perfect.

Control location was the top priority for the Studio Pro design and we're pleased to offer it.

Swing View Equipped

TAP and Icon+ temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.

The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across the studio. It's that simple.

The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP and Icon+ as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it.

Evenheat Control Center

The Studio Pro 41 places all power components off and away from the kiln chamber and re-locates them to a control center on the back of the kiln base.

This thoughtful design locates critical power components away from chamber heat and keeps them low, cool and out of the way. The control center concept is a well-needed departure from traditional kiln designs.

Quiet Drive Solid State

The Studio Pro 41 is standard equipped with our Quiet Drive solid state relay system.

Our Quiet Drive solid state system delivers tight temperature control, long life and desired heating element response. The Quiet Drive is arguably the best designed and best performing solid state system on the market.

2 Position Lid Vent

The Studio Pro 41 is equipped with a 2 position lid vent.

The lower vent position props the lid by about an inch. Perfect for venting off adhesives and other low temperature binding materials.

The upper vent position props the lid by about 4 inches. Perfect for speeding up the cooling process.

Fiber Lid Construction

The lid of the Studio Pro 41 is constructed of a fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency.

The fiber chosen for the lid is an extremely low-shot material. The surface is then covered with a no-shot fiber sheet. These two materials combine to create a lighter weight lid while severely limiting debris from the lid falling onto the glass. Very nice.

Maintenance Parts Tag

To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag on the Studio Pro 41 indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.

Wish we had this decades ago.

Lift Assisted

To assist in chamber opening the Studio Pro 41 includes a spring lift assist feature. This well designed mechanism travels cleanly and securely and causes the chamber to rest easily in the open position.

In the heat of battle you need a smooth and anxious-free movement and the Studio Pro 41 spring lift assist delivers.

Power Interrupt Switch Equipped

The Studio Pro 41 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if either the lid or chamber is opened.

This is important for those who may access the kiln during firing such as glass manipulation and roll-ups.

Build Options

TAP or Icon+ Controls Option

The Studio Pro 41 is available with your choice of the TAP or Icon+ temperature controllers.

Both the TAP and Icon+ are touchscreen style and offer full programming functions.

Check out our Controls tab for detailed descriptions of both controls.

Rolling Option

The Studio Pro 41 is easily made mobile with our rolling option.

The Studio Pro 41 base is equipped to accept our casters. No frame or extra hardware required. Simply attach the casters to the standard base and you're ready to go!

Casters are not factory installed. You will install them when you first set up your kiln. It's designed to be easy and it is. They can always be added later as well.

Voltage Options

Our default production for the Studio Pro 41 is 240V, Single Phase.

We do offer to build in 200V, 208V, 220V, 230V, 380V, 400V and 415V by request.

All controls available on the Studio Pro 41 models will operate properly on both 50Hz and 60Hz line frequencies. To say it another way, line frequency has no effect. It doesn't matter.

Evenheat recommends that you check your operating voltage before ordering or placing the kiln in service.

Studio Pro 41 Full Shelf Furniture Kit

1 - Full Shelf - 38" x 22-5/8" x 1" (5.2 square feet)

12 - 2" Posts

1 - 6 Reed Haik Brush

1 - 24oz. Shelf Primer - Hotline Hi-Fire Brand

The full shelf is a seamless shelf that's 1" thick and offers 5.2 square feet of firing surface.

We recommend using all 12  posts, spaced accordingly. Any posts should be at least 2" or more. We do not recommend posting the shelf lower than 2" or placing it directly on the kiln floor.

Studio Pro 41 Half Shelf Furniture Kit

2 - Half Shelves - each is 19-1/8" x 23-1/4" x 3/4" - (total 5.44 square feet combined)

12 - 1" Posts

1 - 6 Reed Haik Brush

1 - 24oz. Shelf Primer - Hotline Hi-Fire Brand

When shelves are used together there is a single seam that runs down the middle, front to back. Together these shelves provide the largest firing surface for the Studio Pro 41 at 5.44 square feet.

We recommend that you always use posts under your shelf to raise it off the floor. This kit comes with 1" posts for this purpose. You are welcome to any use size post you wish. We do not recommend placing the shelf directly on the kiln floor.

From a handling standpoint, the half shelves are easier to manage than the single, full shelf.

Studio Pro 41 Full Shelf

Full Shelf - 38" x 22-5/8" x 1" (5.2 square feet)

The full shelf is a seamless shelf that's 1" thick and offers 5.2 square feet of firing surface.

We recommend using 12  posts, spaced accordingly. Any posts should be at least 2" or more. We do not recommend posting the shelf lower than 2" or placing it directly on the kiln floor.

Studio Pro 41 Half Shelf

Half Shelf - 19-1/8" x 23-1/4" x 3/4" - (2.72 square feet)

We recommend that you always use posts under your shelf to raise it off the floor and suggest starting with 1" posts. You are welcome to use any size post you wish. We do not recommend placing the shelf directly on the kiln floor.

Posts

Posts are used to bring your shelf up and off the kiln floor. Generally speaking you always want to "post-up" your shelves. Posting up allows heat to get to the underside of the shelf which helps to eliminate and minimizes bubbles. It also helps to minimize differences in shelf temperature to avoid breaking.

We suggest 1" posts as a starting point. We do not recommend placing shelves directly on the kiln floor.

6 Reed Haik Brush

The 6 Reed Haik Brush is a wide and very soft brush used to apply shelf primer.

Shelf Primer - 24oz. (Dry)

Shelf primer creates a layer of protection between the kiln shelf and your glass as it prevents your glass from sticking to the shelf. It is generally applied using a soft brush like our Haik brush. It can also be airbrushed on with the proper equipment.

Our shelf primer of choice is a Hotline product called Hi-Fire. It's supplied in dry form and is mixed with water for application onto the kiln shelves.
